2007 Season

  • La Société culturelle du jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes begins a series of 13 concerts on June 20 at l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes.
  • Lighting of the trees during the summertime festival

2006 Season

  • Transfer of Parc Jardinets « Les Petites Binettes » to Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes
  • Inauguration of the local development path
    on June 19 at Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Progress of work in the garden and obtaining financial aid from partnerships including Deputy M. Henri-François Gautrin.
    • Launch of the summertime schedule under the supervision of la Société culturelle des Terrasses at Chapiteau Physergo (from June 19 to August 31)

    • Creation of an awards dinner presided by the honourable M. Henri-François Gautrin, Deputy of Verdun and Minister of Governmental Services held on Agust 17 at Chapiteau Physergo, to benefit the planning of the Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes area « J’ai le cœur à Verdun ». Public tribute was paid to M. Gautrin as a pioneering partner of Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and for his exceptional contribution to the development of the Verdun area on the occasion of it's 15th anniversary 1991-2006. Tribute paid to the Southwest Physergo Medical Clinic as a pioneering partner of Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes 2001-2006 including the District of Verdun.
    • Last year of activities for la Société culturelle on the riverbank at Chapiteau Physergo due to lack of contract renewal with the city of Verdun.

    • Inauguration of Jardin de l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes on May 5 for the Jardin du cœur allouée aux écoles de Verdun section of the Marguerite-Bourgeoys schoolboard. Student walk, pic-nic, activities and bush planting at Jardin du cœur by the students. The symbolic bush planting represents the solidarity of community and the Verdun school system in harmony with it's environment.
    • Drawing February 14th for a Rascal, provided by la Boutique Orthopédique L’Autonome inc., to raise funds for and electric wheelchair lift inside l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (a Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes project).
    • Obtaining a subsidy within the framework of Summer Career Placement 2005 to create activities gardening, horticulture, in particular at Parc-Jardinets Les Petites Binettes and at Jardin de l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. The Parminou and les Trottinettes daycare centres are permitted to register 76 children in gardening workshops.
    • Creation and planning of numerous activities on the field of Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (the retaining wall on 4th avenue, the installation of public benches, display stands etc.).
    • Successful financing of the Jardin Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes project held at Chapiteau Physergo August 18 (an evening with Karine Michon).
    • Infrastructure transfer to Jardin de l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes including all bushes and perennials of Parc-Jardinets Les Petites Binettes which had been located at the corner of l’Église and Verdun.

    2004 Season

    • Bicycle rental at Chapiteau Physergo for touring Verdun and it's magnificent banks with family and friends.
    • Inauguration of the first public bench of Jardin de l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, within the framework of phase 3 of the committee projet (citizens and partners) growing for success. Thereafter, the citizens financed 10 benches.
    • An exposition culminating in the creation of many paintings and drawings during the summertime season in the form of cultural workshops at Chapiteau Physergo. The project, was concieved by the Centre de formation du Jardin du citoyen in collaboration with the Verdun Economic forum. An unveiling of the Prix du public is awarded to the young artist who garnered the most votes following the exposition.

    2003 Season

    • A service agreement is established between the Accès Montréal and Accès Verdun cards
    • Numerous rental improvements such as flooring, heating ticket office and a cold storage room…
    • Purchase of more comfortable chairs
    • Production of a cultural and tourist guide
    • 120 000 flyer inserts in all the local Southwest newspapers

      Receipt of a $72 000 subsidy (from the ministère de la Métropole) for setting up three event locations
